Santa Is Back In Town (1st Stop)

The time of year has come, Santa is in town and i'm sure most of you mommies out there are preparing for the PERFECT photo of the year, (more like chaotic, am i right?) My sisters and cousins started this tradition, every holiday season they take their little ones to take a cousin Santa photo and for the past 3 years there has been a new baby added to the "Santa cousin tradition"

Every year has been so crazy because yall know, babies are not fans of Santa and well mommies want the perfect photo so they do whatever to get their babies to stop crying and smile. I always thought that was so funny and would just laugh at my sisters and cousins. I mean i would always tag along just to laugh at them and see what silly thing they would do next to get the kids to laugh. this year though.... Was of course my first year as a mama and my little Ava's first Christmas and i mean now i can understand... I literally wanted this photo to be perfect lol and not just that i was part of the silly mama clan. It gets better though.... As we got ready for the photo in line our kids well were of course being kids but all eyes were on us cause we had a 10 year old, three 2 year old, one 1 year old and a 10 month old... yes i type this it sounds crazy and chaotic. you should have seen poor Santas face lol it was priceless. i was even worried for him haha.

I was the first to approach Santa cause of course i did not want Ava to cry and she was doing great so far. She was all smiles and laughing. Than my little nephew Mikha sits right next to Santa not being scared or anything so in my head i was like (this wont be too bad) well i thought too soon lol my other nephew LJ sat next to Santa with my niece Genesis on his lap. She wasn't crying but she was screaming a bit lol then my niece Kelly and nephew Caleb got a little scared and well we didn't think this through and there were no more spots for them. They were not having it so they started crying while they were still in their mommies arms cause of course they were scared and i mean i don't blame them lol so they have no choice but to throw me in the picture!!! We had no choice so i had to carry each one and try to smile while they ALL cried, screamed and complained. Even Ava started crying it was so crazy the girl taking the photo took about 26 photos and of course these were the 3 best we could get with a decent face... I find it funny how i ended up being in the cousins Santa photo, wasn't expecting it but i'm glad i had makeup on lol it was definitely crazy, i went from laughing at them three years ago to being in the photo. I really felt sorry for the Santa he had to deal with all of us for a good 7 minutes.

After the Santa photo we went to the little layout the mall had with decorations, let me just say the kids were in a much better mood and well since they were all matching might as well snap a photo but these photos turned out much better than Santa photo. What can we do?! They just weren't Santa fans.

We will be taking Ava for a second visit with Santa on her own so i'm praying this second visit is a better experience.
